Last night was the season 1 finale of Southern Hospitality on Bravo. After the finale, Mia Alario, Grace Lilly, Madison Reese, and Joe Bradley were guests on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live. A caller asked Grace Lilly if she regrets calling Mia's friend a "slut" to which Grace says "no" and continues to read Mia for filth in one of the most cringiest and uncomfortable scenes we've seen live with Andy in a long time. 1️⃣ I like both Grace Lilly and Mia.
2️⃣ The slut shaming needs to end all together. Period. Dot. And while we’re at it, age shaming is unflattering. We are all going to age so to try to flex about being born after someone is just lame.
3️⃣ While this behavior is unacceptable, I can’t help but give grace (pun intended) to these young adults. They are all in their early 20s and just starting to navigate life. So what if any of these girls are safely and consensually participating in an active sex life? GOOD! They’re young and as long as they protect their bodies and protect their hearts (😉 to Maddi), then who cares?
4️⃣ I love Joe Bradley but how do we have 3 amazing women on stage tearing each other down when the man who manipulated 2 of them is sitting there as if he is a saint. This is not directed towards Joe Bradley (because I love him dearly 😁), but…🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
5️⃣ As a boss (if I was Leva), I think a team building excursion without alcohol (trust falls, obstacle courses, etc) would be a good starting point to address some of the team dynamics. Managing a team that have deeper relationships outside of the work environment can be tough but I think it’s feasible if led by someone who can address the emotional and mental aspects.
